RENOVALIA ENERGY is a company producing electric power by means of renewable energy sources (wind, solar photovoltaic, solar thermoelectric and mini-hydraulic).

RENOVALIA, born more than ten years ago, was among the first companies to adopt 'green energies' to supply the other group’s divisions with power. This initiative saw the light based on a desire to contend with climate changes and improve people’s life, eliminating any traditional extremely pollutant energy sources from their production processes.

RENOVALIA ENERGY’s concern to preserve the environment has led it to consolidate an important R+D+i division, a key factor in its strategy of developing renewable energy sources which may compete against contaminant energies deriving from fossil fuels. During 2009, RENOVALIA avoided emitting 729,758 tons of CO2 to the atmosphere as a result of renewable energies and optimizing the efficiency of its assets.

RENOVALIA has always kept a managerial strategy of continuous investment with the purpose of consolidating its role as an leader within the sector. In order to sustain this trend, RENOVALIA has activated an ambitious expansion plan amounting to be invested from 2010 to 2013 in several of its installations in Spain, Italy, Hungary, Romania, Canada, USA and Mexico.
