The firm VINCI ENERGÍA arose from a group of skilled professionals that came together from a number of different fields as widespread and diverse as industrial engineering, agricultural engineering or R+D combustion engines (PEUGEOT, BMW, RENAULT…) and came from some of the most prestigious laboratories in Europe. The fundamental aim of this group has been to research and develop the area of renewable energy. The firm’s policy has been to obtain funding from the world of engineering in order to finance research and development into renewable energy. The business plan was assessed by the CEEI (European Centre for Innovative Firms) based at the technological business park in Paterna, Valencia, and consequently, the firm established its premises in the same location. The CEEI is an incubator for technology-based firms and is supported by the European Union. In order to reap the benefits of being under the umbrella of this institution the firm’s business plan was previously assessed by a group of experts who approved the plans presented by VINCI ENERGÍA.
VINCI ENERGÍA has taken part in several projects related to photovoltaic solar energy. Up to the present, a total of 65 MW have been legalized nationally and this figure is growing. Important experience was gained by VINCI ENERGÍA due to its participation in these projects on renewable energy.
Moreover the firm has won few important prices like: IMPIVA-CEEI awards in the area of best business plan or Bancaja’s prize as the best technological based company. We have agreement with Universities and R+D technological institutes.
