Agni is a world leader in the field of new technologies for energy generation, unique in the renewable energy sector because it holds a substantial list of patents that give added value.

It has invested over the years and continues to invest in research for the creation of own technology in the field of efficient and eco energy generation, developing a modular system unique in the world, which enables the integration into a single process the necessary technology to define processes as diverse as biofuel production, recovery of landfill gas, power generation and thermal systems that incorporate high-performance hydrogen fuel cells or waste gasification plant variety.

Research conducted in the field of solar thermal technology, will launch in Spain a pioneer plant, as it used a unique technology that will allow the solar plant to produce electricity 20 hours a day, through systems of accumulation with lower costs than in conventional systems. This first plant will be built in the town of Riudoms (Tarragona) and is expected to start construction in late 2009.
