Presentation:
La Agencia Andaluza de la Energía is a public law entity attached to the Consejería de Innovación, Ciencia y Empresa. Born with a mission to develop policies of the Junta de Andalucía aimed at optimizing, from the point of view of energy, economic and environmental supply our Community.
The new entity emerges in the framework of the VI Acuerdo de Concertación Social Andaluz as a powerful tool to making social service, business and institutional to boost energy development in our Community.
The Agency is to coordinate and promote the objectives set in the energy policy of the Junta de Andalucía, which currently are set out in Plan Energético Andaluz 2003-2006 (PLEAN).
This will achieve the following objectives:
- Improve the quality of energy services.
- Develop infrastructure for the generation, transmission and distribution of energy.
- Achieve maximum autonomy energy Andalusia.
- Encouraging savings and energy efficiency.
- Promoting the use of renewable energy and cogeneration technologies.
- Collaboration with the government in designing plans and programs.
- Managing energy incentives granted by the Board of Andalusia.
- Support R & D and innovation in the field of energy, serving as a link between research institutes, businesses and citizens.
- Support for international energy cooperation.
- Vehicle information, training, dissemination and social awareness on the importance of renewable energy, energy efficiency and saving.
